Home Testing Yorkshire Ltd

___________________________________________

Established in 2007, we are centrally located in Holmfirth near Huddersfield. We started off as a company focussing on Air Tightness Testing and gradually expanded to include all of the elements that we cover today including: Sound Testing, SAPs and EPCs, Home Energy Assessments, Commercial SAP and EPC elements as well as Code For Sustainable Homes Assessment and Consultation. We are looking to get involved in LTZ carbon product procurement and provide refurbishment work for existing dwellings to increase overall energy performance that leads to lower consumption.

As a company we have great ambitions to work with the small to medium home builder and developer across the Yorkshire region, bringing them a reliable service that caters to their needs. We strive to provide great customer service and knowledge that will take the burden off of the customer in this ever changing spectrum of regulation compliance.

Price

We're a sensible company, with ethical values and understanding. We know that there are companies out there that are in this game to make a quick buck and move on and others that think that they can get away with charging extortionate prices to unsuspecting builders and developers.   Our prices are fair and reasonable.   We provide a service with the intent to pass you first time without complications or compromise.   Give us a call on 01484 68 66 49 to find out more.

Advice

71% of the leakage in new build homes comes from non-identifiable sources. We are able to highlight to you, while our equipment is on site and running, the areas of the building that are leaking the most. This will allow you to have improved test results in the future through awareness of key areas where leakages are occurring on your builds. In 2010 the Code of Sustainable Homes will be in place which will require ever more difficult pass requirements.  Let us help you prepare for this! For sound testing, we are able to review your plans and give topical advice before any elements are already in place. If you are one of the 3% of builds that fail sound, we are able to give the solutions needed as well to get you a pass.

Quality

Our test engineers are registered with BINDT (British Institute of Non Destructive Testing) in accordance with Air Tightness Testing elements of the Building Regulations 2000 Part L1A concerning the conservation of fuel and power in new dwellings.

Our entire test apparatus is state of the art and calibrated to the latest UKAS standards, so you can rest assured we will perform an accurate test of your buildings.
